About the Role
At PlanMyPlot, architecture is not about imposing a style — it is about unlocking what a plot can become for the family who will live there. As a Senior Architect, you will lead design delivery across multiple projects, manage a team of junior architects, civil drafters, and structural engineers, and ensure every client receives a thoughtful, buildable, and on-time design package.
You will run design review meetings, maintain quality standards, and serve as the technical anchor that keeps projects moving from concept to approval-ready drawings.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of Junior Architects, Civil Drafters, and Structural Engineers
- Oversee the full design lifecycle — site analysis, concept planning, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings
- Conduct and lead client design meetings; translate feedback into clear, actionable revisions
- Ensure all deliverables meet PlanMyPlot quality standards, local bylaws, and client requirements
- Coordinate with structural engineers on load paths, column grids, and foundation recommendations
- Review and approve drawings before client delivery; maintain revision logs and version control
- Track project timelines and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery across the portfolio
- Mentor junior team members on design thinking, software workflows, and client communication
What We're Looking For
- B.Arch degree with valid COA registration (Council of Architecture, India)
- 3–7 years of experience in residential architecture — villas, independent houses, and plotted developments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp; working knowledge of rendering tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of Karnataka (and broader Indian) building bylaws and approval processes
- Demonstrated experience managing a small team or multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Vastu-aligned residential planning
- Familiarity with BBMP, BDA, or gram panchayat submission workflows
- Portfolio showcasing completed residential projects across plot sizes
