About the Role
Precision drawings are the backbone of every PlanMyPlot project. Civil Drafters transform architectural concepts into clean, accurate, approval-ready technical documents — working drawings, details, schedules, and submission sets.
This role suits diploma or early-career drafters who take pride in line weights, layers, and getting every dimension right the first time.
What You'll Do
- Produce detailed working drawings from architectural layouts — plans, sections, elevations, and details
- Prepare submission-ready drawing sets aligned with local authority formats and requirements
- Create and maintain title blocks, layer standards, and drawing templates per PlanMyPlot conventions
- Incorporate structural inputs (column positions, beam layouts, slab details) into coordinated sheets
- Update drawings based on revision requests from architects, engineers, or client feedback
- Run quality checks for dimensional accuracy, naming conventions, and sheet completeness before delivery
- Manage file versioning and ensure the team always works from the latest approved set
- Support quantity take-off and BOQ preparation when required
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or equivalent
- 0–2 years of drafting experience; freshers with strong AutoCAD skills are welcome
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D production drafting)
- Understanding of residential construction details — foundations, walls, slabs, staircases, and openings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Organized, methodical, and comfortable with repetitive precision work
Nice to Have
- Experience with Revit or BIM workflows
- Familiarity with BBMP or BDA drawing submission standards
